STUDIOS
‘I’m fascinated by the world as a phenomenal entity.’
The studio specialises in transferring knowledge of subjects included in the curriculum of Interior Design Institute and Design Institute such as:
photography
It’s a place of meetings and sharing the fascination for photography as an artistic, exploratory and scientific medium.
The aim of the Studio's activities is to equip students in basic knowledge and skills in the field of photography and make them familiar with the versatility of approaches existing in contemporary photography, in its commercial, artistic and social realms. A crucial element is acquiring the skill to conduct and realise photography series; creating photographic images by the use of specifically chosen forms of expression: light, composition, photo-optics and skillful framing. Classes are centered around the dialogue between an authorial way of imaging and the tradition of photography imaging. In their works students refer to both personal and commonly experienced artistic undertakings, they interpret it through photography. The form of realisation remains open for practices exceeding classic boundaries of the medium. The character of projects and tasks provokes an insightful and critical analysis of the occurences in reality, which leads to creative reshaping in the process of conceptualisation and formation of visual narrations.
