My artistic, publishing and research activity is diverse and over the years has changed following the transformation of photography. Trying to understand and comprehend those complex and diverse processes which were happening in the photography field I aim at gathering as many new experiences as possible. It stems partly from my inner curiosity, but also from the sense of responsibility towards my students, whose versatile development is of pivotal importance to me. My projects have been situated around the area of staged and documentary photography with the use of available techniques, ranging from pinhole photography, large-format photography, drawing to installations. I have always been interested in photography as a cultural phenomenon which is centered around a human need of portrayal and depiction.
